| My name is Jacqueline Davey, I am a birth and postpartum doula, midwife assistant, and student herbalist. I began supporting families in the Los Angeles area in 2004, and moved to Sonoma County in 2009. I work with all families and their unique desires for a positive birth and early parenting experience. I believe that a positive birth paves the way for a peaceful and confident parent/child relationship by bringing consciousness into the birthing den and into the home of the new family. I have been blessed with the opportunity to study with some of the worlds leading birth professionals including, Penny Simpkin, Dr. Sears, Pam England, Kittie Franz, and Karen Strange. I have attended trainings that include; birth doula, advanced birth doula; supporting survivors of abuse, breastfeeding from the baby’s perspective, nutrition for pregnancy, supporting an Orthodox Jewish woman, and I hold a current certifications in infant child CPR and Neonatal CPR. My services include Birth Doula services in the home hospital or birth center, Postpartum Doula services days or nights, Birth Pool in a Box Eco rentals, and placenta encapsulation.
