Tara Burgi

My name is Tara Burgi.  I am a 47 years old and I have lived in
Sonoma county for 35 of those years. I completed a DONA
International  Doula Training in September 2009.  I have recently
completed my 6th birth.  From 1994 to 1996 I worked at the  
Women's Health & Birth Center, attending births both at the birth
center and in hospitals.  I was raising a daughter at the time and
that proved to hold most of my attention so I took a break from
attending births to attend my own family.  Earlier this year I had the
opportunity to change career direction and this has always been
where my heart and soul is at home ... supporting families in the
most transforming moment in their lives. I am amazed and
reminded how strong women are and honored every time I am
invited into this process.  I wish for all of you and for the healing of
our planet the births of your dreams.
